Doon Senior Secondary School

Our school is found on Court Road in the Vikas Nagar area of Hanumangarh. It is a fairly central location, so it isn't hard for people to find us. We have students in the senior grades, which means the atmosphere here is usually a bit more focused on the upcoming exams and their future plans. We have been operating at this spot for several years now. The building has a few floors and enough classrooms for all the different subjects we teach. We have a small staff room where the teachers grade their papers and have their tea during breaks. It is a busy place, especially in the middle of the day when everyone is moving between classes. We don't really go in for anything too decorative. The walls are mostly plain, and the furniture is simple but built to last. We just want the students to have a quiet place where they can sit and study without too many distractions around them. Being near the court area means there is always a lot of traffic and people moving about on the street. Inside the gates, we try to keep to a regular schedule. The students come from all over Hanumangarh. Some take the bus and others ride their cycles. We just provide the space and the teachers to help them finish their secondary education. It is honest, daily work for all of us.
