We have two shops, number 29 and 32, over in Ward No. 21 in Pilani. We are right on the Chirawa Loharu Bypass, so we get a lot of dust from the passing trucks. Being near Bhagina Road helps people find us though. Pradeep Motors is basically a place where there is always grease on someone’s hands. We have tools scattered on the workbenches and some old tires stacked in the corner. The bypass is always noisy with engines, but that’s just part of the atmosphere here. We started with one shop and then ended up taking the second one because we needed more space for the parts. It’s a bit of a walk between the two, but it keeps us moving. Most of our day is spent under a hood or looking at a gearbox. We don’t have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of plastic chairs outside under the shade. The sun gets really hot on the metal roof during the afternoon, so we drink a lot of water. Customers usually live nearby or are passing through on the bypass. We’ve known some of them for years. They drop by for a chat even if their car is running fine. It’s a simple life, fixing things and making sure people can get back on the road. We don't use any high-tech systems, just our eyes and some old wrenches that have never let us down when a job gets difficult.
