Bhart Poultry Center

Bhart Poultry Center is out on Raj Gagh Road in Pilani. We are right opposite the Pragti Dharam Kanta. If you see the big trucks lined up to get weighed, you have found us. The air here always smells like bird feed and earth. We have been at this location for a while now. Pilani gets very hot in the summer, so we spend a lot of time making sure the birds are cool and have enough water. It is a noisy place with all the clucking and the sound of the trucks across the road. We sell eggs and chickens to the local families and some of the small dhabas nearby. My clothes usually have a bit of feathers or dust on them by midday. It is not the kind of job where you stay clean. We wake up very early, usually before the sun is even up, to get things ready. The Pragti Dharam Kanta is a busy landmark, so there is always someone around. We don't have a big fancy sign, just a board that says the name. Most people find us by word of mouth or because they saw us while waiting for their truck to be weighed. It is a simple life centered around the cycles of the birds and the seasons. We don't have any big corporate goals, just keeping the poultry healthy and the customers happy with what they buy for their kitchens.
