Surya Printographics

Our shop is right there on the Saristabad Main Road in Gardanibagh. Being right beside the Gayatri Nursing Home makes us pretty easy to spot, even with all the traffic zooming past. Surya Printographics is usually a hum of activity with the printers running almost non-stop. The machines have a specific rhythm to them that you get used to after a while. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have paper stock piled up in almost every corner. We try to keep things organized, but when a big job comes in, the whole place turns into a sea of boxes and ink cartridges. The smell of fresh ink is pretty strong, especially on humid days. We get a lot of people coming in from the nursing home side or just folks passing by on the main road. The front window gets a bit dusty from the street traffic, so we have to clean it more than we’d like. There’s a small desk where we handle the billing, usually covered in scraps of paper and pens that don't always work. We don't have a lot of space for people to sit and wait, so most folks just stand around and chat while we finish their work. It’s a loud, busy environment but it feels right for this part of Gardanibagh. The heat gets a bit much in the middle of the afternoon when the machines are all running hot. We just keep our heads down and watch the pages come off the rollers one by one until the day is done.
