Shiv Medical College & Hospital

Out here in Babhanpura, things can get pretty busy at the hospital. We are located in the Mubarakpur area of Phulwarisharif, and it is a large place because we have the medical college part attached to it too. You will see a lot of students walking around in their white coats, learning how things work. It can be a bit loud with all the activity, but that is how a teaching hospital usually goes. We handle a lot of different patients every day. Some people come from quite far away because there are not many places like this around here. The building has been here for a bit, and we are always trying to keep up with the repairs. It is not always perfect, but we do what we can. The doctors are busy, the nurses are running around, and the students are always asking questions. It feels like a small community inside these walls. We have got the basic stuff covered and then some. People know us as the place where the new doctors learn, so there is always something going on. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. If you come by, you’ll see it’s just a practical place meant for helping people get better while teaching the next group of medical folks how to do the job right. It is hard work, but we are used to it by now and hope to keep helping out the local area.
