Infrastructure Development Authority

We’ve been here at Haroon Nagar Sector 2 for a while now. The office is in Phulwarisarif, which most people in Patna know is quite a busy area. It’s not a fancy setup, just a regular place where we handle the infrastructure work that comes through. Most days are spent looking over plans or dealing with the local logistics of building things out in the city. The traffic near the sector can get pretty heavy in the mornings, but we’re used to it by now. We usually have a few people coming in and out asking about projects. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or find something else to do. It’s not like those big corporate offices you see on TV. It’s more about getting through the files and making sure the roads or whatever else we’re working on actually gets moving. Sometimes things take longer than they should because of how the system works here, but that’s just life in Patna. We keep the doors open and try to stay on top of the stack of papers on the desks. It gets dusty inside if we leave the windows open too long because of all the construction nearby. Most of the staff has been around for years, so we all know how the local tea stall is better than what we make in the breakroom. It’s just a normal workplace doing what it can. There is always a bit of noise from the street, but we don't mind much. It is what it is.
