Capital Multispeciality Hospital & Cancer Research Institute

Out here on AIIMS Road in Phulwari Sharif, we have the Capital Multispeciality Hospital & Cancer Research Institute. We are located right near the Naya Tola Masjid. It’s a bit of a serious place because of the cancer research and the type of treatment we do here. The building is large enough to handle a lot of patients, but it doesn't feel like a cold, corporate office. We try to keep things down-to-earth because people coming here are often going through a lot. The traffic on AIIMS Road can be a nightmare sometimes, so we always tell people to leave early for their appointments. It’s a lot of work keeping a multispeciality hospital running. We have a lot of different wings and departments, and there’s always something that needs fixing or updating. The researchers are usually tucked away in their own section, while the rest of us handle the day-to-day patient care. It’s not a flashy lifestyle working here. We spend our days on our feet, moving between rooms and checking on people. Phulwari Sharif is a busy area, and being near the masjid means there’s always a lot of activity nearby. We just focus on our tasks and try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can for everyone who comes in. It’s hard work, but someone has to do it. We don't have much time for anything else but looking after the patients and keeping the facility running as best as possible.
