Maa Hospital

Our hospital is located in Thekma, specifically in the Sadipur area. A good landmark to look for is the Sadipur Pokhara, which is very close to our building. Having the pond nearby is nice, though in the rainy season, the mosquitoes can be a bit of a nuisance for everyone. The building isn't very large, but we’ve made the most of the space we have here. We have a few rooms for people who need to stay over, and the windows look out over the local fields. It is a quiet part of Thekma, away from the big noise of the main highways. Most people who come to see us are farmers or families who live in the nearby villages. We don't have a big administrative team, so you’ll usually see the same two or three people every time you walk through the door. The walls are painted a simple white, though they could probably use a fresh coat one of these days. We have a small bench outside under a tree where people like to sit and wait when the sun isn't too hot. It feels more like a community spot than a big medical institution. We handle things as they come, whether it’s a minor injury or something more serious. There are no fancy uniforms here, just people doing their jobs. It’s a practical, straightforward place for the folks in Sadipur to come when they aren't feeling well.
