Gaba Pharmacy

The shop is located right on Nawanshar Road in the Garha area. Gaba Pharmacy has been here for a good while, and we have seen the road change quite a bit over the years. It used to be much quieter, but now there is a constant stream of cars and buses headed towards the main part of town. Our place is simple and straightforward. We have shelves lining the walls from floor to ceiling, and sometimes I have to use a little stool to reach the stuff at the very top. The floor is made of old stone that stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on the road outside. We don’t have any big flashy signs or modern decorations. It is just a regular local pharmacy where we know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. Sometimes the traffic on Nawanshar Road gets so loud we have to speak up to be heard over the engines. We spend our mornings checking the stock and dusting the glass cases. Garha is a busy neighborhood, and being on this road means we see everyone passing by on their way to work or home. There is a small tea stall just a few doors down, and the smell of ginger tea often drifts into the shop in the mornings. It is a humble place, and we are just here to do our bit for the local folks who live around the Garha area.
