Datta Krupa Brick Maker

Datta Krupa Brick Maker is based out of Aradgaon Village. We are in the Phaltan Taluka area of Satara District. If you are coming from the Shirwal Naka, we are just a short distance away. It’s a rural setting, so things are pretty quiet except for the work we do. We make bricks, plain and simple. It involves a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the weather. Rain is usually our biggest problem, so we have to plan around it. Our setup is not fancy at all. It’s just a patch of land where we do the mixing and the baking. Most of us here have grown up around this kind of work. We know the soil in this part of Satara pretty well. People from the village and the nearby towns come to us when they are starting a new construction. We don’t do much in the way of marketing. Word of mouth usually brings people to Aradgaon to find us. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us busy from morning until sunset. We just try to make enough bricks to keep up with the local demand. Sometimes the trucks get stuck if the ground is soft, but we manage. That’s just life as a brick maker in this part of the country. We stay focused on the work and let the results speak for themselves.
