We are situated right behind the Court in Phalodi. Most days start pretty early because people coming for court work often drop in looking for small things. Being right opposite the SBBJ Bank helps people find us easily, though the road gets a bit crowded during the afternoon hours. We’ve been here for a while now, running this Sahara Q Shop setup. It isn't a massive place, but we try to keep the shelves full with whatever the locals in Jodhpur might need for their kitchens. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so a lot of our time goes into just dusting the packets and keeping things looking decent. My family helps out when it gets busy. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a regular store where you can grab your flour, oil, or some snacks without much fuss. The power goes out occasionally, which is a bit of a pain, but we manage. People know me by name here, and that makes the long hours feel a bit shorter. If you are heading towards the bank or have some work at the court, you will probably see our sign. We keep things simple and just focus on making sure we don’t run out of the basic stuff people use every day in their homes around here. It's a quiet life mostly, just managing inventory and talking to the regulars who stop by for a quick chat before heading home.
