Sarswati Ice Factory

Sarswati Ice Factory is located on Qila City Road. The name of the road itself tells you a bit about where we are, near the old fort area where the roads are a bit narrower and the history is etched into the walls. We are in the business of making ice, and our factory on Qila City Road is a busy spot. It’s a functional, rugged place. We don't have a lobby or a receptionist. Instead, you'll find us near the large freezing tanks or out on the loading dock. The road outside is often dusty and filled with the sounds of the city, but inside, it’s all about the hum of the cooling units. We deal with large quantities of ice, mostly for the local markets and small shops that don't have their own big freezers. It’s a lot of manual work, pulling the heavy metal molds out of the brine and harvesting the blocks. We have to be careful on the wet floors, and the air always feels a bit heavy with moisture. We’ve been at this for a while, and the building shows its age, but the equipment still does what it needs to do. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy facade or expensive signage. We just focus on getting the orders ready and making sure the ice is clear and solid. It’s a tough, cold job in a warm part of town, but it’s what keeps the local businesses running for everyone.
