N. V. Engineers

Our workshop, N. V. Engineers, is located at D-69 inside the Sports & Surgicals Goods Complex on Kapurthala Road. It’s a busy corner of the world. There’s always a lot of variety in what’s being made around us, from balls and bats to medical tools. We fit right in with our own set of tools and projects. The complex is a bit like a maze if you aren't used to it, but we know every shortcut. Inside our unit, it's usually a bit noisy. We have machines running and people talking over the din. We aren't really into the corporate way of doing things. If something needs fixing, we just grab a wrench and get to it ourselves. The office part is just a small desk in the corner with a bunch of papers and some old calendars on the wall. We spend most of our time on the shop floor anyway. It’s a dusty place sometimes, but that’s how you know work is actually getting done. Kapurthala Road is always packed with traffic, so getting things in and out takes a bit of planning. We’ve learned to deal with the quirks of the building and the local power grid. It’s just what we do. We don't need a lot of praise or fancy awards. Just a steady stream of work and a team that knows how to handle it is enough for us.
