Bansal Tea And Spices

We have been running Bansal Tea And Spices for a while now. Our place is located on Ins Road, right near the India Gas Godown. It is easy to find because the big gas trucks are always moving around nearby. We handle a lot of tea leaves and different kinds of spices every day. Most of the time, the shop smells very strong of cardamom or black pepper, depending on what we opened that morning. My brother and I manage the stock ourselves. We don't have fancy shelves, just a lot of sacks and containers piled up. The road outside is dusty, so we spend a lot of time sweeping the front. People come by to get their monthly tea or some turmeric for cooking at home. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to wait around in the heat. It is not a very big shop but it has enough room for us to work. We don't use a computer or anything, just a notebook for keeping track of things. We know most of the people who live around here. They stop by to chat even if they are not buying anything. The India Gas Godown is a good landmark for us. If someone gets lost looking for Ins Road, we just tell them to look for the gas cylinders. It is a simple business and we like it that way. We just keep the tea fresh and the spices sorted out as best as we can.
