Our place is located right on the Vadodara Jambusar Highway, in a village called Dabhasa. It’s part of the Padra taluka in Gujarat, so we see a lot of trucks passing by on Highway 160. Swiss Pac Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a good while. We’re in the packaging business, which means there’s always the sound of machinery and the smell of materials in the air. It’s a large facility, but it doesn't feel like a cold corporate office. It feels like a workplace where people actually get their hands dirty. We spend our time managing production lines and making sure the quality is decent before anything goes out the door. The weather out here in Dabhasa can get pretty intense, especially in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and stay on task. We don’t have any marketing gurus telling us how to look professional. We just are who we are. Some of us have been working here since the beginning. We know the machines and we know the quirks of the highway traffic. It’s a busy life, but it’s honest work. We don't make big promises or talk about global footprints. We just make sure the packaging is done right so our customers can do their own jobs. It's a simple arrangement that has worked for us for years. We just keep moving forward.
