You can find us at No. 469 Kunnathur Road, which is right near the Devi Chithra Theatre. Most people use the theatre as a guide to find our place. We are located in the Petham Palayam Privu area, and it’s a pretty active spot for poultry work. Every morning starts before the sun is even up because the birds don't wait for anyone. We spend our time feeding, cleaning the pens, and checking on the health of the flock. It’s a noisy environment with all the clucking and the sound of the fans running to keep the air moving. Our clothes usually smell like the farm, but that’s just part of the job. We have a small shed where we keep the feed and the tools we need for repairs. The road outside can get busy, especially when there is a popular movie playing at the theatre, but we mostly stay focused on what’s happening inside the fences. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting heavy bags and moving crates of eggs or birds. We don’t have much in the way of a fancy office, just a small desk in the corner of the shed for keeping track of the numbers. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from dawn until dusk every day. At night, you can see the bright lights from the cinema sign reflecting off the warehouse windows.
