Mariyas

Mariyas is based out in Koovappady. It is a bit of a drive to get here if you are coming from the main city, but it is quieter this way. We like the pace of life here. The building isn't very large, but it fits everything we need for our daily tasks. We mostly handle local requests and small-scale operations. Most days start early before the sun gets too high. We have a few benches and tables set up inside where we organize our materials. It is a simple place, really. We don't have air conditioning, so we keep the doors open for the breeze. You might hear the birds or the occasional motorbike passing by on the road. We don't use much technology besides the basics needed to keep track of things. Our team is small, just a couple of people who have lived in this area for a long time. We know the shortcuts and the local suppliers, which helps us stay on track. If things get busy, we just work a bit faster. There isn't a lot of talk about growth or expansion. We are just happy to have a steady rhythm to our days and enough work to keep us occupied. It’s an honest way to spend the time, and we appreciate the people who stop by. We usually close up when it gets dark and head home to our families.
