We operate out of building number 11/196B in the Pulluvazhy area. It’s a quiet spot near the post office, which makes it easy for us to handle our mail and the daily paperwork. The building is a two-story structure with the production on the bottom and a small storage space on top for the extra boxes. We mostly make drinks and some snack items that we sell to the shops around this part of the district. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us making sure the bottles are filled and the labels are on straight. We don't have any big automated systems, so most of it is done by hand or with simple tools we've used for years. We’ve had to fix the roof a few times because of the heavy rains we get here in the monsoon season. The yard out front is where we load the small van we use for deliveries. It’s a tight squeeze sometimes when the neighbors park their cars poorly on the street. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or websites because we don't need them. We just talk to the shopkeepers directly and show them what we have in the van. Most of the time, they are happy to take a few crates for their customers. We keep a close eye on the stock levels and try not to make more than we can sell in a week. It’s a simple way of doing business but it works for us. We've been in this building for about five years now and it feels like home.
