B & L Hydraulics

We’ve been here at 195-D on M C Road for a good while now. Being right near the Jacobite Church makes it easy for folks to find us, though the traffic gets a bit much on Sundays. The shop is usually full of parts and there’s always some oil on the floor no matter how much we sweep. It’s just how it goes with hydraulics. B & L Hydraulics is where we spend most of our daylight hours. Usually, it’s just me and a couple of others fixing up pumps or looking at cylinders that have seen better days. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually keep the big front door open to catch a breeze. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to chat while we’re working on a heavy valve. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. Just some old stools and a lot of tools scattered around the benches. If you come by, you’ll probably see us covered in grease. That's pretty much the daily routine here. We handle the stuff people bring in, try to get it moving again, and keep things simple. M C Road is a busy spot, so there is always noise from the trucks passing by. We’ve got used to the sound of the church bells and the constant hum of engines. It’s a basic setup, really. Just a workshop where we get our hands dirty every single day.
