Somu Traders

We run Somu Traders out of the Balaji Pharmacy building on Kunnathur Road. It’s a well-known spot in the area, so most people don’t have much trouble finding us. The road gets a fair amount of traffic during the day, which keeps things interesting. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time now. The building itself has its quirks, like the way the door sticks sometimes when it rains. We don't mind it much. It feels like home to us. Our work is pretty simple. We handle trading tasks and keep the inventory moving. Since we share space with the pharmacy, there’s always someone coming or going. It’s a lively environment. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s more of a desk-and-chair kind of operation where we keep our logs and answer the phone. Kunnathur Road is a good place for a business like ours because everything is within reach. We know the other shop owners nearby and usually grab tea at the same time. We aren't looking to change much about how we work. It’s a practical way to spend the day, and we like the routine we’ve built up over the years. Just a local business doing its thing in a familiar neighborhood. We usually close up shop when the sun starts to set and the traffic dies down a little bit. It is not glamorous, but it is exactly what we need to get by.
