Our place is at No10/1 V. Kotta Road. If you are driving down that way, you can’t miss us because of all the trucks parked nearby. Royal Leather Exports deals with a lot of heavy material, and you can smell the hides the moment you walk through the gate. The building is a simple concrete structure that has seen better days. Inside, it’s mostly open space where we sort through the leather and get it ready for shipping. It’s a physical job, and we all have the marks on our hands to show for it. We spend hours grading the skins under the big hanging lights. The road outside is always noisy with traffic, and the dust kicks up every time a lorry passes by. We have a small office tucked into the corner where we keep the records, but most of us prefer being out on the floor. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, and we know the local transporters quite well. We don't bother with fancy brochures or polished sales pitches. We just let the work speak for itself. Sometimes the weather gets really damp, and we have to be extra careful with how we store everything. It’s a straightforward business without any frills. We start our shift early and we don't leave until the last truck is loaded up.
