Egalaxy

People often ask about the name Egalaxy when they stop by our place in Periyar Nagar. I guess it sounds a bit like something from a movie, but we’re actually just a small shop dealing with everyday tech stuff. We moved into this spot a while back because it’s a good neighborhood and we liked the feel of the street. You’ll find me or my nephew here most days from ten in the morning until late evening. It’s not one of those sterile, white-walled stores you see in the malls. We have boxes piled up in the corners and the desk is usually covered in cables and bits of hardware we’re testing or fixing. Periyar Nagar is a nice place to work because you get to know the regulars who live just around the corner. Sometimes they just pop in to ask a quick question about their phone or a laptop issue. We don't mind. It’s part of being a local business, I suppose. The air conditioner makes a bit of a rattling noise sometimes, but it keeps the heat off, so we don't complain too much. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make sure the people around here have a reliable place to come when they need something digital sorted out. It’s quiet on Sundays, which is nice, but the rest of the week stays pretty steady for us.
