Yong Enterprises

Our place, Yong Enterprises, is located at 17/397 in the Industrial Estate on Ooti Road in Pandikkad. Being here in Malapuram, we see a lot of local trade and people moving goods back and forth. It is a very straightforward operation. We have a warehouse space and a small area for the administration work. We deal with various goods and supplies that local businesses around here need. The building is just one of those standard industrial units. It is nothing fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, it is mostly tall shelves and stacks of boxes. We spend a lot of our time loading and unloading stuff from the trucks. The Ooti Road gets busy, so we try to get our deliveries sorted out early in the day before it gets bad. We have been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by name. It is just a few of us running the whole show. We do not have corporate meetings or big strategy sessions. We just look at what needs to be shipped out and we get it done. The paperwork is mostly hand-written or done on an old computer in the corner. It works for us. Sometimes it is very quiet, and other times everyone seems to want something at the exact same time. We just take it as it comes. It is a practical way to earn a living. The floor is concrete and the roof is made of tin.
