Shine Tiles

Shine Tiles is located in Makkaraparamba. It’s a local shop where we show various types of flooring and wall tiles. We have rows of display stands where you can see the patterns and colors. Some are glossy and others have a rougher finish. We aren't a massive warehouse, but we try to keep a decent selection so people in the area don't have to travel too far. The shop has big windows but it can still get a bit dark in the corners where the heavier slabs are kept. We spend a lot of time moving tiles around to show how they look in different lights. It's heavy work and our hands are usually covered in some kind of grit. We don't have any big corporate backing. It’s just us here, talking to homeowners and local tilers. Sometimes a shipment arrives and the whole floor is covered in boxes for a few days while we sort them out. We try to be helpful when someone is stuck between two different shades of beige or grey. It's a common problem. We've seen a lot of houses in Makkaraparamba get finished with stuff from our shelves. We just keep things simple. You come in, look at what’s available, and we tell you how many boxes are in stock. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just focusing on getting people the tiles they need for their homes.
