Kanayam L.P.School

Kanayam L.P. School is located on Kanayam Road in the Kulappully area of Palakkad. Being a lower primary school, we mostly deal with very young children from the local village. The school is a simple building tucked away from the main road. It is quite peaceful here most of the time, except when the kids are out playing during their breaks. The surrounding area is green, which is typical for this part of Palakkad. When the monsoon hits, the sound of the rain on the roof is so loud that the teachers have to raise their voices just to be heard. We have a few classrooms and a small office where we keep all the records and supplies. The furniture is sized for small children, and there are colorful posters on the walls to help them learn their letters and numbers. Most of the parents here are farmers or work in the nearby town. They know us well, and often stop by to talk about how their kids are doing. We don't have any grand facilities, just a safe place for the little ones to spend their day. The children usually come in their uniforms, carrying their lunch boxes and water bottles. It’s a very local atmosphere, and everyone knows everyone else. We just try to make sure the kids get a good start before they move on to the bigger schools in the city.
