We are based out in Kolathur, which is in the Malappuram district of Kerala. Our work at Sudhakar Irrigation Systems is mostly about helping folks get their water setups right for their land. It is beautiful out here, but the terrain and the rain can make irrigation a bit of a puzzle sometimes. We spend a lot of our time out in the fields or at our facility making sure the pipes and pumps are ready for use. We are not some big city corporation with a tall building. Our office is practical and sits right where the work happens. The staff here mostly grew up in this area, so we understand the local soil and how the seasons affect the farms. We do not use a lot of big words or complicated sales pitches. Usually, we just sit down with a farmer or a landowner and figure out what they need to keep their crops growing. It is quiet in Kolathur compared to the big cities, but we stay busy enough. Sometimes the monsoon makes it hard to get out to some of the more remote sites, but we manage to get the gear delivered one way or another. It is hard work, often involves getting a bit of mud on your boots, but it is what we know how to do. We have been doing this for years and plan to stay right here in the district. It is a simple life and a simple business.
