Saint Thomas Nursery - Primary School sits on Kurichi Natham Road over in Asthinapuram. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you’re coming from the main part of Ariyalur. We handle the younger children here, starting from nursery age up through the primary years. The building is modest, just a few rooms where the kids spend their day. We have a little bit of a yard out front where they can play when the weather isn't too harsh. It’s mostly local families from around Asthinapuram who bring their kids to us. You’ll see the parents waiting outside the gate every afternoon when school lets out. Inside, the classrooms are filled with the usual stuff like blackboards, desks, and some charts on the walls. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when everyone is inside, but we make it work. The teachers are friendly and have been with us for a good while. We don't spend money on big advertisements or fancy brochures. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or relatives who live nearby. It’s just a normal, everyday school for the kids in this area. We keep things simple and try to stay on top of the paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to open all the windows for air, but that’s just how it is here. It’s a steady place for the children to start their learning journey and grow up.
