Poongodi & Co

We are located on Vinayagar Koil Street in Perampakkam, which is over in the Keelacheri area. Our business, Poongodi & Co, is right near the temple, so it is a very familiar spot for anyone who lives around here. The street is usually full of life, especially when there are temple functions or local markets. We have a small shop where we handle various things that the local people need. It is not a modern store with bright neon lights. Instead, it is a traditional space that has been around for a long time. We know the history of this street and the families who live on it. Our daily work involves talking to customers, stocking the shelves, and making sure everything is in order. We do not have any big corporate ideas. We are just a local company trying to do right by the people in Perampakkam. Sometimes the cows wander down the street and we have to shoo them away from the entrance. It is just part of the charm of working in Keelacheri. We close the shop in the late evening and walk home. It is a simple existence, and we are quite content with it. We do not need a lot of fancy things to be happy. Just being a part of the community on Vinayagar Koil Street is enough for us.
