You can find us at 1/82 in Puttur, right near National Highway 44. Being so close to the highway means there's always a lot of noise and trucks passing by. We do construction work, which mostly means we're out on various sites more than we are in the office. Our place here is where we keep the equipment and some of the materials like sand or bags of cement. It’s hard work, and we’re usually pretty tired by the end of the day. We’ve worked on a lot of different things around this area, from small walls to bigger houses. We don't really have a fancy website or anything; most people just hear about us from their neighbors. We like building things that last. It gets very sunny out on the sites, so we wear hats and try to stay hydrated. There’s always a lot of planning involved, even for the smaller jobs. Sometimes the rain slows us down, and we have to wait for things to dry out before we can move on to the next step. That's just part of the trade. We’ve got a small crew of guys who have been together for a long time. We know how each other works, which makes things easier. It’s a steady life, and we’re happy to be working in our own community. Most of us have lived here in Puttur our whole lives anyway, so we know the ground pretty well.
