The Ramco Cements Limited is at No : 1, Cement Nagar Post, in the Sendurai Taluk area of Alathiyur. Since the whole post is named after the work we do, you can tell we’ve been a big part of this area for a long time. It’s a large site with a lot of movement, but the office itself is pretty basic. We have a few rooms where we handle all the distribution and paperwork for the cement. The sound of the machinery is something you just get used to after your first week here. Most of the staff live nearby in Alathiyur, so it feels like a very local operation even though it’s a big name. We don't have any fancy meeting rooms or polished floors. Everything is built for heavy work. You’ll see people in uniforms and hard hats walking around all day. We keep our records in thick folders and try to stay on top of the shipping schedules.
