Patil Traders

We are located in Ward No 2 of Balawali Village, which is over in the Pen Taluka part of Raigad District. If you know the Ganpati Mandir around here, we are very close to that. Being Patil Traders in a place like this means we know most of our neighbors. It’s a quiet village life for the most part. We deal with all sorts of trading goods. Every day is a little different depending on what people need. Some days are slow and we just sit outside the shop watching the village go by. Other days it’s quite hectic with trucks and deliveries coming through. Raigad has its own rhythm. We try to keep everything organized, but with a small shop near the temple, it can get a bit cluttered. We don’t mind. It feels lived in. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just passing the mandir. We don’t do anything flashy. We just open up in the morning, do our work, and close when it’s time to go home. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough. The weather can be a bit much during the monsoon, but we manage. We just do what we can to keep the business running and help out the folks in Balawali when they need something from us.
