We are located right by the APMC Market in Chinchpada. It’s near the Raigarh Bazar, so there’s always something happening around us. The area is constantly buzzing with trucks and people buying goods. It's noisy. Our shop is a straightforward place where we handle our daily trading. It’s usually quite messy because of all the sacks and crates. I’ve been working in this market for years. My son helps out now when he's not at college. We don't have a lot of space. We have to be smart about how we stack things. The smell of the market is something you get used to—a mix of everything being sold nearby. We don't do any big marketing. Our customers are mostly the other traders and locals who have been coming to us for a long time. Some days are incredibly hectic. It gets wild early in the morning when the new stock arrives. We sit on small stools and use a wooden desk that's seen better days. It's a very local way of doing things. We know most of the people who walk past our door. If you need something, you just come in and ask. There’s no formal process. We just write everything down in our ledger. It's a simple life but it keeps us on our feet. We've been here through the floods and the seasons.
