Dhivyasree Traders

It is pretty quiet here in Vandiperiyar most days. We have been running Dhivyasree Traders for a while now right on the way to Sathram Thekkady. You know how it is in this part of Kerala, it rains a lot and everything stays green and wet. The shop is just a regular place where we handle different things coming in from the local farms around the hills. It gets a bit busy when the tourists pass through going towards the forest area, but mostly it is just us and the local people we see every day. My desk is usually covered in papers and some tea cups because there is always something to write down or a neighbor stopping by to talk about the weather. We do not have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just the space we need to get the daily work done without too much fuss. Sometimes the electricity goes out when the wind gets strong up here. That is just how life is in the hills and we just get used to it. We keep the doors open and wait for the trucks to arrive with the loads. It is a simple way to make a living, honestly. Most people around here know where we are because we have stayed in the same spot for years. If you are ever heading down the road toward the Sathram side, you will probably see our sign. It is nothing special, just a place where we do our trading.
