Ravi Traders

Ravi Traders is located over at 561, G Ragampeta. It’s a place where we spend most of our daylight hours, surrounded by the stock we keep for the local trade. The building is older, but it holds everything we need it to. Every morning is pretty much the same routine. We open up, check what arrived late the day before, and start organizing the floor. It’s mostly about keeping track of what’s coming in and what’s going out to the customers. The area around G Ragampeta is usually bustling, so there's always something going on outside our door. We don't use any high-tech gadgets to run the place; just simple math and keeping our eyes on the inventory. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit difficult, like when it rains and we have to move everything away from the entrance quickly. My brother and I run the show, and we’ve learned a lot just by doing the work every day for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, just trying to keep things running smooth so we can go home at a decent hour. If a customer needs something we don't have, we try to tell them where else they might look. That's just how things are done here. It's dusty work sometimes, moving bags and crates around, but it keeps us busy. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. People just know where we are and what we do at our little shop.
