A Mart

You can find A Mart at 2/90 on Vattigadda Main Road. We are located near the Rajavommangi Post area. It is a bit of a long drive to get out here if you are not from around these parts. The shop is right on the main road, so you usually cannot miss it. We have a few shelves filled with all the basic things people might need. It is a small space, so we have to be very careful about how we stack the boxes. The floor is made of smooth cement that stays nice and cool even in the middle of summer. I spend a lot of my time sweeping because the passing cars bring in a lot of sand from the road. Rajavommangi Post is a small community. We see the same faces almost every single day. It is nice to know everyone who comes through the door. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we just have to wait around. We do not have a lot of fancy equipment here. Just a simple counter and some overhead lights. The sign outside is a little bit faded from the sun. We keep the doors open to let the breeze in when it is not too dusty outside. A Mart is just a simple shop for the folks living along Vattigadda Main Road. We don't try to be anything special. It is a quiet life working here. We mostly just talk about the weather and the local news with whoever stops by for a bit.
