Our place is located in Andugulapalli, which is out in the Peddapalli area near Karimnagar. We are at house number 3-95 if you are looking for the exact spot. It is a bit of a drive out from the main city, but this is where the work happens. We handle bricks, mostly for the local construction happening around Devunipalli and Mangal. It is a lot of outdoor work. The sun gets really hot out here in Karimnagar, especially in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy loading done early. It’s a private limited company but it feels more like a small family thing most days. We have a few guys who have been with us for a long time. We don't really have a big fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s mostly just the yard and the ledger books. We spend a lot of time talking to truck drivers and checking the quality of the batches coming out. Sometimes the rain slows things down, which is a bit of a pain for the drying process, but we just wait it out. People around here know where to find us if they need a load for a house or a wall. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not a complicated life, just moving bricks from one place to another. We usually close up when the sun goes down and head home for dinner.
