Peddapally Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our office is at Mogiliah’s house, number 1-5-176 in Miyapur Village. It’s right there in Sulthanabad Mandal. Most people around here are farmers, so we see the same faces every day. Peddapally Farmers Producer Company Limited is really just a way for us to get things organized as a group. We sit out on the porch often when the weather is okay. There’s usually a tractor parked nearby or some cattle walking past on the road. It gets noisy when the market is busy. We deal with a lot of paperwork for the members, which can be a bit of a headache. The fan in the main room makes a clicking sound that we’ve just gotten used to. We don't have fancy computers, just a couple of old laptops and a lot of notebooks. Sometimes we have to walk over to the next village to meet someone because their phone isn't working. It’s a lot of walking and talking. The local children often run past the window, making a lot of noise while we’re trying to count the inventory. We have a small radio that usually plays some old songs in the background. The dust from the fields gets everywhere, especially in the summer. We drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade. It’s a simple life, and we aren't trying to change too much. We just want to make sure the crops are okay and the prices are fair for everyone involved.
