Bhagyodya Tradelink

Down here on Chalakudi Road, things move at their own pace. We are located at number 789 in Ashtamichira, and if you live around here, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times. Bhagyodya Tradelink isn’t anything flashy or modern. It’s mostly just a large space filled with whatever we happen to be trading that week. I spend a lot of my time checking the inventory and talking to suppliers on the phone. Sometimes the rain here in Kerala makes things a bit difficult, especially when we are trying to load or unload goods without getting everything soaked through. The shop floor is usually a bit dusty, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that I keep meaning to fix but never quite get around to doing. My neighbor from the shop next door often drops by for a chat, which is nice when things are slow in the afternoon. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone telling us how to look professional. It’s just a few of us making sure the books balance and the customers get what they need when they stop in. Some days are packed with work from morning until night, and other days we just sit and watch the traffic go by on the main road. It’s a quiet life but it’s honest work for us. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and we know the locals well. We just try to be practical about how we run things every day.
