S A S Earthmovers

We’ve been here in Pilathara for a good while now. S A S Earthmovers is just a small group of us who handle the heavy machines for local building projects around Kannur. Mostly, we spend our days out on sites dealing with dirt and rocks. It gets pretty dusty, but that is the job. We keep our equipment out here and try to keep it running right so work doesn’t stop. Sometimes the rain in Kerala makes things difficult with the mud, but we manage. People around here usually just drop by or call when they have a patch of land that needs clearing or a foundation that needs digging out. We aren't a big fancy office type of place. Our space is simple and we focus on getting the machinery to where it needs to go. My cousin helps with the bookings and I spend most of my time looking at the engines or talking to the operators. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is out, but it pays the bills. We've seen a lot of changes in the district over the years with more houses going up. Anyway, we just stay busy with the earthmoving stuff. If you are passing through Pilathara Po, you’ll probably see our yellow machines parked up somewhere nearby. We just try to do the work as it comes and keep the gear in decent shape for the next day.
