Yasravi Medical Clinic

If you go to Sherkot in Bijnor, you’ll find us right by the Tampu Stand. It’s a very busy spot because of all the tempos coming and going, so there is always a lot of noise and shouting outside. Yasravi Medical Clinic is right in the middle of all that chaos. People often drop in while they are waiting for their ride or just after getting off a tempo. We have a small room where the doctor sits and a place for people to wait. It gets quite dusty because of the vehicles, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the surfaces. The floor is just plain cement and we have some old plastic chairs for the patients. It’s a practical place, nothing fancy at all. We see a lot of people from the nearby villages who are just passing through Sherkot for the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the emergency lights to finish up the work. We keep a stock of basic medicines and supplies in the wooden cupboards. It’s a lot of work managing the crowd when it gets busy in the afternoon. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the sign above the door. Most people just know we are here because of the location. It’s just a regular part of the day, dealing with coughs and minor injuries in the middle of the transport hub. We just do our bit and keep things moving.
