Welkin Natureresort Private Limited is located out in Srikot. We’re over by Kreshna Dairy, on the land belonging to OmPrakash Joshi. It’s Khautani Khatta number 8, Khet number 631. It’s a more rural setting than being in the middle of a city. This makes things a bit different for us. We deal with the resort business, which means we’re often outside or checking on the grounds. Srikot is a quiet area and we like it that way. Being near the dairy means we have some good neighbors. The work involves a lot of upkeep because of the nature around us. Plants grow fast and there’s always something that needs fixing or painting. We aren't some big corporate hotel chain. We’re just local folks managing a property. We don't have a fancy lobby or a lot of staff in uniforms. It’s more about the practical side of staying in the hills. Sometimes the roads can be a bit tricky after a heavy rain, but we manage. People usually find us through word of mouth or by just coming across the place while they’re in Srikot. We spend our days making sure the rooms are ready and the area is clean. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide a place for people to sleep. It stays busy enough for us.
