Kyari Resorts LLP

Kyari Resorts LLP is situated in the village of Kod Jajal, which is up near Narender Nagar in the Tehri Garhwal district. It’s a bit of a climb to get up here, as the roads wind quite a bit through the mountains. We are right in the heart of the village. This isn't a place with big neon signs or a huge lobby. It’s just a mountain resort that feels like a part of the landscape. We don't have a corporate office. Everything is handled right here on the property. We are just local people from Tehri who wanted to start something of our own. The air is thin and the winters can get pretty cold, so we spend a lot of time making sure there’s enough wood for fires and that the blankets are thick. We don't have a marketing department to write this for us. We are just writing it ourselves. It’s a simple life. We don't have a lot of fancy amenities, just the basics. People come here for the views of the valley and to get away from the heat of the plains. We don't promise anything more than a quiet place to sit and a decent meal. It’s a bit rough around the edges sometimes, but that’s just how things are in the mountains. We are just trying to do a good job and keep the place running.
