KNM RESORT LLP

KNM Resort LLP is located in Village Jaiharikhal, and we are based at Kuldeep Singh’s place. Jaiharikhal is a small spot not too far from Lansdowne, but it’s even quieter. It’s basically just a village in the hills of Uttarakhand. We aren't a big resort with swimming pools and ten restaurants. It’s more of a local guesthouse vibe where things are very basic. Kuldeep handles a lot of the work himself. We started this because we had some space and wanted to do something useful with it. The village life is slow. Most days are just spent looking after the property and talking to the few people who pass through. We don't have a lot of money spent on fancy signs or advertising. If you find us, it’s usually by word of mouth or because you were looking for something away from the main tourist paths. The rooms are plain, and we don't offer anything besides a place to sleep and some simple local food. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of people from the village who help out. It’s a very practical way of doing things. We don't pretend to be something we aren't. We are just a small village business trying to earn a living. It’s quiet, it’s green, and it’s very humble. That is just how we are and we don't plan on changing much.
