Jakarta Food

Jakarta Food is located up here in Village Khetu Mashi, which is quite a beautiful area near the Govt. Degree College. We are in the Thalisain tehsil and use the Vedikhal post office. Being near the college means we see a lot of students and staff members throughout the day. We focus on preparing food that people around here enjoy eating. It is a small operation and we do most of the cooking in a kitchen that is just big enough for two or three people to work in. The name sounds a bit different, but we are just a local place. We get our ingredients from the local markets when we can, though some things have to come from further down the road. The winters here can be a bit tough with the cold, but we stay warm by the stoves. We don't have a big menu or anything like that. We just make what we are good at and hope people like it. Sometimes the college schedule changes and we are suddenly very quiet or very busy. We have a few tables out front where people can sit and eat while looking at the hills. It is a humble setup and we don't put on any acts. We just enjoy cooking and being part of this community near the college. If you are passing through, you can’t miss us because the road isn't that long.
