Hnb Base Hospital

Hnb Base Hospital is located at 13 Pauri Base Hospital in Srinagar. It’s a busy place, honestly. Being a base hospital means there’s always something going on at any hour. People come in from all over the surrounding hills and the town itself. The corridors are usually filled with families waiting or staff rushing from one ward to another with clipboards. It’s not a quiet, peaceful building by any means. You can hear the sounds of metal carts rolling and heavy doors opening and shutting all day long. The building itself has been around for a long time, so it has that worn-in look. Some of the paint is peeling in the corners of the rooms, and the windows rattle when the mountain wind picks up. We have different departments for different needs, but it all blends together when it’s a full house. The doctors and nurses stay pretty tired, but they keep at it. I see the same faces every day, from the security guard at the gate to the folks cleaning the floors in the morning. We get a lot of foot traffic because of our location in Srinagar. It’s a central point for healthcare in this part of the region. We don’t have anything flashy or expensive here, just the equipment we need and the space to take care of people who are sick or hurt. It’s a tough job sometimes, but this is where we work and help out.
