Build & Decor is based in the Durgapuri area of Kotdwara. We are right near Durgapur Chowk, which makes us pretty easy to spot if you’re coming through that part of Pauri. The 246149 area has a different feel than the bigger cities. It’s a bit more relaxed, but the work is still steady for us. We handle a mix of construction and decorating tasks. It’s a small shop. Usually, you’ll find one of us sitting at the back or out talking to a contractor on the phone. We don’t have a website with fancy, edited photos. Most of our projects are just around the corner or a few streets away from the shop. People stop by the chowk and then wander over to ask us about prices or materials for their own houses. We try to give them a straight answer without any extra fluff. The mountain air is nice, but the terrain can make moving heavy materials a bit of a chore sometimes. We’ve been here for a bit now and we know the local suppliers around Pauri well. It’s not a complicated operation at all. We just take it one day at a time and try to make sure the customers are satisfied with how their place turns out in the end. It’s a local business run by local people who understand what works in this area.
