Bedu The Mission Private Limited

You can find us at Vatika Camp in the village of Bijni Chhoti. It is near the Mohan Chatti post office in the Yemkeshwar block of Pauri Garhwal. This part of Uttarakhand is quite remote and very beautiful if you like the mountains. We called the company Bedu The Mission because the bedu fruit is so common around here in the wild. We wanted to do something that helps the local area and uses the resources we already have. Our office is basically just a part of the camp setup. We spend our time working with the villagers and seeing what can be done with the local fruits and plants. It is not an easy place to run a business because the roads are winding and the hills are very steep. We do not have any fancy corporate polish or expensive suits. We just wear our regular clothes and spend half our time outdoors in the dirt. Sometimes we have to walk quite a bit just to get basic things done. It is just a small group of us trying to make something work here in Pauri Garhwal. We deal with whatever comes our way, from local produce to helping out with the camp activities when people visit. It is a completely different kind of life than the city. We do not have high-speed everything, but we have the mountains and the river nearby.
