Csi College Of Engineering

Our college is out in Pattuthurai, which is part of the Attur area in Salem. The address is 4/ 66- East Street. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but it's quiet out here which is good for the students I guess. We have several buildings spread out, mostly for the different engineering departments. I work in one of the administrative offices near the front. The fans are always clicking and there's usually a stack of student files on my desk that never seems to get smaller. We spend a lot of time dealing with admissions, exams, and just general maintenance of the grounds. The grass grows fast in the rainy season and it's a constant battle to keep it tidy. We have a canteen that sells tea and snacks, which is where everyone gathers during breaks. The labs have been here for a while and they're full of tools and equipment for the classes. It’s not a fancy private school with glass walls; it’s a regular engineering college. We have faculty who have been here for years and students who come from all over the Salem district. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s a lot of routine. We open the gates early and stay until the last bus leaves. It’s just how things are run here at Csi College of Engineering. We just keep things moving.
