Sri Vari Traders

You can find Sri Vari Traders right on the G.T Road in Dina Nagar. We are located near Parmanand on National Highway - 54, so the sound of trucks passing by is something we hear all day and night. It’s a very noisy spot, but it’s good for business since everyone sees us when they drive past. The building is a bit old, and the paint is peeling in some places, but it stays dry inside when it rains, so that’s what matters. We deal with various trading goods that people in this part of Punjab need. Most of our day is spent unloading crates or talking to the drivers who stop by to stretch their legs. It’s not a very fancy setup. We have a small wooden table where we do all the paperwork, and a couple of plastic chairs for guests. Sometimes the power goes out for a few hours, so we just sit outside and watch the traffic until it comes back on. It’s a simple way of living. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and we know most of the other shopkeepers along this stretch of the highway. We share tea and talk about the weather or the crop prices. It’s just a normal local business doing its thing on the main road. No big corporate plans, just serving the people who stop by the highway every day.
