You can find us on the 1st floor of Gupta Market, which is Shop No. 1 A. We are right on Boring Road in S.K. Puri. If you know Patna, you know Boring Road is always crowded and there is always something going on. We are in the space that belongs to Umrawati Devi. It’s a small shop, but it’s enough for what we do with our desi chai. We spend our time blending tea and making sure the mix is right. The market building is old and the stairs are a bit steep. It gets quite noisy with all the shops around us and the traffic from the main road. We don't have a lot of space for people to hang around, so it’s mostly just us working. Sometimes the smell of the tea leaves is really strong and fills up the whole corridor of the market. We have a few big containers and some weighing scales. It’s not a fancy corporate office. We just sit on plastic chairs and go through our tasks. The electricity goes off sometimes and the shop gets a bit dark, but we just keep going. People in this area love their tea, so we are always busy. We don't have a big marketing plan, we just rely on people knowing we are here in Gupta Market. It is a simple life and we just take it one day at a time.
